I claimed for a mobile fone i lost, I had a few mobiles at the time, they all looked the same. When i reported the fone lost i gave the insurance company the wrong details... i gave them details off another mobile, which at the time is thought were correct. And carried on using the fone i claimed for as i didnt know at the time, that the details i gave were wrong. Now the police want to question me for fraud. I have no other offences.
Will i have a fine or maybe a caution?

Just tell the Police officer the same as you have told us, show him/her the phones and explain the mistake.. The Officer will help you resolve the problem..
I would however change phone networks, as they have treated you rather badly...

Mobile POS out of my windows mobile T-mobile Wing?
Does anybody know how I can turn my T-Mobile Wing into a mobile point of sale machine? Any ideas on POS software that can be ran on Windows Mobile 6? Ay experiance hooking up a USB card reader to the T-Mobile Wing? Is this possible, because it seems to me like it should be very possible. But I am having a hard time finding info on the web.

i currently have t-mobile and i bought the iphone and unlocked it so it works with t-mobile and everything works fine except the internet on it. I called t-mobile and added their internet service and they told me it should work on the phone its been a day and still it doesn't work and i don't have internet with t-mobile. I can only go online when im in a wi-fi area connection, but not everywhere with the t-mobile internet, anyone know what i can do i need help please??

Mobile home foreclose?
I have a mobile home set up on a lot. The lot rent has gone up so high year after year. I am getting ready to let the bank foreclose on my mobile home. And try to get a regular house. The problem is I still owe twice as much on the mobile home than it is worth. I have had it for about seven years now and am paying $587 a month.
My question is what legal action will the back take against me, after they resell it for the difference? How should I go about telling them I am defaulting on the loan?

I think it really depends.. i'd say that if your new house is also something your getting a loan on try and make sure that loan goes through first.
the bank will foreclose on the home and sue you for the remainder of what they do not get in the auction... so figure on paying about as much as you owe on it now (since you said you owe twice than what its worth)you might want to look into filing bankruptcy.. if i were you and were employed i'd see if my employer offers some sort of EAP program where you can get not only free mental health benefits as well as free legal advice.

Usually if this happens most file for bankrupcy. I think your best bet is to just stay there or rent it out.

My mobile appears to have been high jacked to send out spam signals. How can I check and how can I stop this?
For over a year now my overseas mobile phone has been 'acting strange' in lots of ways. It has an email function and I can search some websites with it. To start with, I keep getting charges for mobile webtime that I haven't been using. My mobile would also periodically log itself out for no apparent reason when I was in the middle of using it. On top of that it sometimes makes clicking noises and the same messages often pop up quickly twice. For a while I was getting tons of spam. Eventually my mobile had a complete overload from something and crashed. I spent major bucks to retrieve the data however the company couldn't help me with any virus info. The mobile co. originally said it it was impossible for a mobile to get a virus. Time before last it said 'maybe' a virus was possible. Now the reply is back to 'of course not'. My mom claims my mobile phone has been sending her computer spam. Her ex-boyfriend, no longer talking to her now apparently, had claimed he traced the spam to me.

You should have told us the exact model of your phone. Viruses for mobile phones do exist - but the most widely used mobile phone models cannot be infected with viruses. Unless your phone runs the Symbian S60 R2 operating system, it is not really threatened by viruses.
In addition, none of the known mobile phone malware (not just viruses but also Trojan horses and other malicious programs) causes the symptoms you describe.
I don't think that your phone is responsible for sending the spam, either. Your mom's ex-boyfriend's claim to have "traced the spam" is bogus. Nowadays spammers routinely fake the "From:" field of the e-mails they send and tracing them is next to impossible. Simply, they have captured your e-mail address and have used it in the "From:" field of some spam sent from who-knows-where.
The other problems you describe are probably caused by some faulty application installed on your phone. Try reformatting it and don't install any new applications on it for some time (besides the ones that come with the phone, I mean). If the problem persists, it is caused by a hardware failure; take the phone to a repair shop again. If not, try installing new applications one-by-one and see after which one the problems re-appear.

Mobile Phone Tools Problem?
Hey, well, I have bought myself a Motorolla V3xx. And I have got a burned copy of the mobile phone tools software, which is a software that allows you to copy/transfer music across, but my burned copy, seems to be giving problems, I plugg it in, and click usb cable. It seems to be working fine, it loads, but then as it gets near the end, it just stops,Its like its automaticly getting disconnected and says "Mobile phone tools wont work properly cause theres no mobile device, etc etc, then it brings me back to the same screen where I click USB CABLE. Is there something wrong with the disc or my phone?
By the way, I use Windows Vista Incase that could help in any way.

AIM Mobile Device buddy list group - how to get rid of it?

Last night while AIM was running at home (and "away") I happened to stop by a cel phone store and while trying out some phones that had mobile AIM, I logged into my account from one. On the mobile AIM only two buddies came up out of those on my list that should have been online and it gave some kind of error. Hmm..oh well, I thought and I logged back off.
When I got home I see that AIM has created a new buddy group called Mobile Device with a list which showed the same two that I saw listed while on that phone. They were also duplicated in my regular list above.
How do I get rid of this group?

so, i have a virgin mobile phone and i need to change the number. i used to have a t-mobile to go phone but i havent put money on it for awhile so can i switch that t mobile number over to my virgin mobile phone becuz they say you can keep the same number you had, but i was wondering if it would work since i havent put money on tht phone in a while?

If you have battery power to your phone and it is a virgin mobile phone you can dial *86 on it and it should connect you to virgin mobile voice service then say ask a question and it will give a long list to choose from, then you say something else and the voice service (Simone) will direct you to a live advisor. The live advisor should be able to help get your new phone service set up. best wishes and good luck with Virgin mobile. I will most likly switch to another carrier after this month myself after Virgin mobile got my money this month and shorted me three days off my time. I am not happy with them at all but maybe you will have better luck with Virgin Mobile then I have had lately. My family has Verizon, 1000 minutes for five people. I help out a bit with twenty bucks a month. We went over our minutes (my fault) this month and my family wants me to pay $130. In a fit of emotion, I said I would rather take over my phone or get my own plan. Fam wants me to take over my phone. I'm thinking of a T-mobile plan because the people I gab with the most are T-mobile....
What I want: 300 minutes, five faves, mobile to mobile, lowest amount of texts...
1. T-Mobile charges to send texts outside of T-mobile?
2. Can my faves be home numbers? Any provider?
3. Which phone would you recommend? I have a razr right now and love that I can record my ringtones. I would love to keep that feature.
4. The phones on the site aren't great, should I go in store?
5. It says DOMESTIC texts.... What is that?
6. Letstalk.com? Good or no? Wirefly and other websites don't seem to have a mobile to mobile option, or nights/weekends and are 2 year contracts...

3. I'd recommend the Samsung SGH-T629 [the phone I'm using right now]. It can record ringtones, play music files, use bluetooth, take pictures, and a lot more.
4. It depends on the features that you're looking for. You can go to a local Wal-mart or Best Buy store with an electronic section and pick from a variety of phones for T-Mobile.
5. Not sure, but I think it means texting within your FamilyTime plan. Or maybe it could just mean texting in general.

Can i use any T-Mobile phone on their website with a prepaid plan??? i would like to switch to a cheap, good cell service that has nice phones, but im puzzled. prepaid seems to be the best way, now i just have to decide which mobile phone company prepaid is the best. there is verizon, t-mobile, alltell, sprint/virgin mobile. alltell isnt in my area. sprint/virgin mobile work horrible in my area. so its then down to verizon and t-mobile. verizon prepaid is very expensive, so then im left with t-mobile.

Alright. I updated my plan to have unlimited mobile to mobile so now I can talk to my girlfriend who has tmobile with unlimited mobile to mobile.
I know nights and weekends are free but I was wondering, does mobile to mobile include days aswell? Like can I call my girlfriend in the morning or afternoon, and will it be free? Thanks for any help. :)

i plan on getting a curve 8320 with t-mobile that has built in wi-fi. i plan on downloading mobile google maps for it but do i need a t-mobile internet plan to be able to use it? im pretty sure i can download it at home with my wi-fi connection, but wat if im somwhere where there is no wi-fi can i still access google maps w/out a internet plan from t-mobile?

Google maps application doesnt come with maps data, just downloads maps from internet as needed. Google maps may not use your home wifi but I think the cheapest data plans.

Hello, Me and my wife we are about to purchase mobile home in Central VA area. This is very new to us, since we've been renting apts for a long time. Now we have a 7 month baby and need our own space+I am settling down in that town because of my job.
We are still thinking is it worth to buy or rent property, we still can not afford townhouse, but kinda afford mobile home with the same features as rentals.
I am asking, if you could help us to decide what we should be looking in mobile house, year built? we found some but most of them are 10 years old. what is average cost of 2bd 1 bath single wide(there are 10 different price ranges, we are confused :(

One of our sons bought a mobile home as his first own home. He bought an older trailer on 1/2 acre land. He lived in it for a while and very soon he started building his first real home on the same land. While building his new home he still was living in his trailer, he was able to build his home in steps - however and whenever his financial situation allowed him to go one step further.
Now to your questions. If you think about buying a Mobile home, make sure that you own the land as well. If you can pay cash for the mobile home the age pretty much does not make a lot of difference. You certainly should inspect the home very careful regardless, specially when you are moving in with a baby. You need to make sure that your family is safe.

One of our sons bought a mobile home as his first own home. He bought an older trailer on 1/2 acre land. He lived in it for a while and very soon he started building his first real home on the same land. While building his new home he still was living in his trailer, he was able to build his home in steps - however and whenever his financial situation allowed him to go one step further.
Now to your questions. If you think about buying a Mobile home, make sure that you own the land as well. If you can pay cash for the mobile home the age pretty much does not make a lot of difference. You certainly should inspect the home very careful regardless, specially when you are moving in with a baby. You need to make sure that your family is safe.

Why can't the police set up a website where the public can send in videos or pictures of people using their mobile whilst driving. To make it more worthwhile they could offer a £5-£10 reward for successful convictions. Just think of all those kids with mobile phones the reward could be credited to their mobile.

They then post these videos on their website, I can't remember if it was just to shame the bad drivers, or if the police used the information for convictions. Either way, the site and it's administrator got a whole lot of hate-mail and death-threats from bad drivers.

T-mobile Phones??? T-mobile Dash vs. T-mobile Blackberry Pearl.?
I'm changing phone services and have decided on T-mobile, however, I can't decide on the phone. I have narrowed it down to the T-mobile Dash and the Blackberry Pearl(not the 8120 yet to be released). I am use to a full keyboard so these were my best choices. I know that both allow you to check your e-mails but do i have to pay monthly for this, even if I'm at a T-mobile hotspot(This is not the most important thing to me, but I would use it a ton if i didn't have to pay extra) I assume both keyboards can be locked, am I correct? Which is easier to text with? Which is better/ more comfortable to talk on? Which is easier to use(overall, and the QWERTY keyboard)? Which has better performance? What messaging services can i use from each, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, etc.? What about any additional functions? Any other comments, I want to hear them!!!

Now, there is a montly fee of twenty dollars for unlimited web browsing and email, but the blackberry's can not sync with outlook email. Also the dash is a windows mobile phone, so you can upload your microsoft word, excel documents onto it etc. and you can watch movies on it's window's media player (pretty cool). Yes the keyboard can be locked on both types of phones, the texting is a little tricky on both phones, but once you get used to it, it's fine. The blackberry curve's internet is a little slower than the dashes because they have completely seperate internet add-on packages. you can set up any email from the blackberry except outlook, but over all both phones are awesome. The dash doesn't look as cool, and the blackberry has more accessories to go with it. Hope this helps alittle..! good luck

I had this old phone, Motorola v220, but I was happy with it. My auntie didn't have one. She lives in America, she came to visit me in London. I was supposed to get a mobile on the day she departed for America, so I gave my old mobile to my Auntie. On the day I went to the airport with my Auntie. When I came back and checked my mail I saw that the company ad cancelled the order. Now I have no mobile and I really really need one!! Shud I ask my Auntie to give my mobile back. I don't really get the whole mobile to mobile thing...is it free for all T-Mobile customers to call each other? Or is it only free mobile to mobile for the phones in your certain plan?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phon! e: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.
