Mobile virus?

can you get a virus on your mobile???

i have a mobile (sagem my 800x) and it takes a mini sd card.

the other day i connected the card to a computer to put some music on it.

then a few days after, i found 2 files on the card (i found when when browzing the card on the mobile) which i couldnt open. i dont know if they appeared just after i put the music on the card, because i only noticed them a few days after, and i am not sure that they weren't there before either.

if this can be any helpful, a few days before i put the music i also sent a game to the mobile via a bluetooth device. i had downloaded this game from a free-download site.

what do you think.... could this be a virus on my mobile????

thanks to all who reply!!!

Mobile virus?
Some mobile phones can be infected by viruses. It depends very much on the phone model. Only phones running the Symbian S60 R2 operating system are seriously threatened, although proof-of-concept viruses exist for phones running PalmOS, Windows Mobile and Symbian UIQ operating systems.

Your problem, however, is probably not caused by a virus - although the information in your message does not allow me to determine it for sure. In any cause, the phone itself is definitely not infected. Some PC viruses, however, try to spread to removable disks - and your phone, when connected to your PC, might look like a USB disk to it, which means that a PC virus could copy itself there. It cannot run on the phone, though.
Reply:Yes this is a virus, But dont worry It does not affect Your Mobile phone, it is'nt for mobile phones. This is maybe one those viruses that spreads through flash drives and sd cards.
Reply:yes i think u need some anti virus software to ur mobile, check mobile softwares from http://mobiledownloads4u.webs.com
Reply:Definitely a virus from the pc maybe when downloading
Reply:Well personally i'm not sure about a phone virus but just in case delete them two songs and if you connect your mobile to the computer you could probably do a virus check on it. Hope this helps!
