Which T-Mobile Sidekick should I settle with??

I am looking to buy a new phone (preferably a T-Mobile Sidekick) but I have a few things I need to figure out.. Can someone help me, please??

(1.) I live in Australia -which is beautiful place %26amp; I never intend to leave- but they don't sell Sidekicks here, just "Hiptops" %26amp; "I-Mates".. Is there a huge difference 'cuz I checked out both the latter brands %26amp; they don't look as good or have the 'swivel screen' which the Sidekicks does..

(2.) If I get a T-Mobile Sidekick from USA, then which service should I get my phone connected to?? Will they support all the internet features such as IM??

(3.) I love the features of the Sidekick LX but Sidekick 3 looks hot too, so which one should I pick??

(4.) Money isn't any problem but heck, I'd like to know how much the phone costs before I buy one (in aust. currency - if it's not too much of a hassle)..

And finally

(5.) If I can't get a T-Mobile sidekick, then what phone would you recommend for me??

Please answer ASAP..

Cheers..

Why waste your money on a cell phone. Australia doesn't have cell service of any kind.
Reply:Hiptop is the original name for the Sidekick, and is still the software that runs on Sidekicks. "Sidekicks" are exclusive to T-Mobile, and will not work with any other provider, so don't buy a USA Sidekick. They can't be unlocked for use on other networks at all.
