I was driving and i looked to my left and i saw a riot van parked in a side street (the big dark blue one) parked facing towards me i was wondering if they had a mobile speed camera on?
or are the mobile speed cameras just on the typical speed camera cars you see the white vans that look like space cruisers with all the stickers on.
Can mobile speed cameras be on riot (dark blue) vans?

Mobile speed cams can be installed anywhere... actually, the best location is in vans and such.
Unfortunately, despite the fact that there is an accuracy debate and the fact that you will only receive the ticket after some time (which you will most likely forget if you were speeding due to a genuine reason), speed trap detectors are still ban in Singapore and in a number of countries so there's no real way of telling.
In UK, some states strongly believe in prevention is better than cure (or fine), thus the use of detectors are allowed.
