T Mobile Question...Need Answers?
It would be better and safer to go to a T mobile store and buy the phones cause you dont want to take the chance of any one getting your info and screwing up your credit or any thing like that.
Reply:I never pay anything on-line through the company's websites. I do use bill pay through my bank. T-Mobile has a good website where you can get your phone and you'll have to pay for shipping. The T-Mobile stores will not always have the same phones you can get on line.

You can always send T-Mobile a check or money order as payment. They'll send a detailed bill to your house or opt for paperless billing and they'll send your bill to your email.

Reply:well depends if u want ur phone the same day or can u wait the 2-3 days before getting ur phones. u can pay online or go into the stores and pay ur bills. and yes its safe.
Reply:You may get better deals online vs in-store. Personally, I wanted my phone right away so I bought from the store. Either way, your monthly bills will likely be charged to a credit card or checking account. To pay in the store, you have to pay an addtl $5 (I think) per month.

A hint-pay the extra and get My Faves. I have the 300/minutes per month %26amp; with My Faves, that is plenty of time.

And, I love T-Mobile. So much that I sold a Blackberry Pearl 8130 that I won b/c it was not compatible to the network.
Reply:First of all, if you act fast they actually have a family myfaves plan for 69.99 for 800 MINUTES!!

Well, if you go to the store you can actually look at the phones and get a real feel on which phone you want to get. Online is okay too because they have deals online that are not offered in stores only online.

No matter what there will be activation fees added to your bill.

If you purcahse the phone online or in the store, Your bills will come to you in the mail but if you don't want them to come to you in the mail log online and change your settings to have a "paperless billing statement." Then you will have statements online when you logon into your account.

I believe that it is safe, it is usually human error if you type in the wrong banking account and not their fault.

I pay my bills online all the time and I don't have to worry about paying for stamps or going to the post office (or a mail box)

They also have automatic payments, which you never have to worry about as long as you have money in your account. Hope this helps
Reply:If you buy it up front you get the phone that day. If you buy it off the internet you have to wait for it to be shipped.

Either way the plan and service is the same.

You can pay the bill either online, over the phone or send the check through the mail.

I have had t-mobile for about 2 years now and absolutely love them

You can also buy the phones at Wal-Mart. They offer the same plans but they do not have all the phones offered in the t-mobile store or online.
Reply:Here is an online deal I found that offers 1000 minutes instead of the standard 700:

* 1000 Shared Minutes

* Unlimited Night %26amp; Weekends

* Free Long Distance

* Nationwide Coverage

* This is a family plan

* Price: $69.99/mo.

* 2 Year Plan

With this you get your first phone, a Motorola RAZR V3 Gray w/ myFaves for T-Mobile + $30 cash back after rebate.

The 2nd phone is the same model as above, and costs $9.99. Again, however, Get $30.00 Cash Back after rebate.

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me :)
Reply:You usually will get a better deal buying the service online. You can pay the monthly bills either online, by phone, or in the store. I've always signed up for my mobile service online and I prefer it that way.
Reply:In a way it is better to buy online. They have better special on their phones. The downside is it takes longer to get the phones. Just because you purchase your phone and plan online doesn't mean you will have restricted pay options on your bill. You will still be able to pay either at the TMobile store, online, or by phone, and they also can set you up for automatic bill pay. Yes, it should be perfectly safe as long as you are on the TMobile site. If you feel unsure then you should call the 800#. They can walk you through everything as well. i actually looked at the phones online but i went into the store to get mine. Hope i have been helpful.
Reply:I have had T-Mobile for about 4 years now. I think it's better to get the phone at a store because if you have any problems you could stop by the store and they will take a look at it. If you buy it online and call the customer service, it is sometimes too complicated to explain what's wrong with your phone. Also, you get the monthly bills in the mail with a reply envelope :( And yes, it is safe to buy it online as long as it's an authorized dealer such as tmobile.com
