I wonder if any one can help me out here.
Before and during xmas 07 i was sent Explicit texts and mms
on my mobile phone, I went to the police and they took my phone for evidence, i was told it will take two weeks as they send it to some lab to download the images, they have had my Mobile since the 23rd of Jan 08. does anyone know how long it take to come back, as i was told it was in transit on it's way back two weeks ago.
Mobile Phone?
Wite a letter to the "Chief Superintendant" at the station you took your phone to requesting that they return your handset to you via a secure delivery option within seven day's of the date of your letter (post it on the same day) and send it by 'recorded delivery' and state that if you do not hear from them within the specified time you will approach a magistrate and request that they then order your property to be returned. Actually give it ten days for a reply and if your hear nothing from them go to the courts and ask to see in person the Magistrates Clerk.
Reply:I Think you should call/write to them and ask them to send your goods back, or to tell you some date that you will expect your phone back. because to stay without a phone just for evidence, is unfair, they could leave it with you, that you do not delete the messages, simply, maybe in this travellersgate.com you could find similar traveller experience who got lost his phone and police got it back, but still he have to wait for sometimes until he get it from them, I do not understand why is that !
Reply:Its got lost in transit. You need to inform the police of the problem.Without you prodding them no-one will do anything
